Mariya Tambuwal Emerges as The Most Performing First Lady in Nigeria

As Gov Aminu Tambuwal shines on Education and Workers welfare, Mariya Tambuwal emerged Most Performing First Lady.

The wife of the Sokoto State governor, Her Excellency, Hajiya Mariya Aminu waziri Tambuwal was yesterday presented with an award by Patriotic Service award as the ‘Most Performing First Lady’ for her excellence in Women and Youth Empowerment after emerging victorious on the polls held. 

Speaking at the event, the head of the organization said the award is in recognition of Her Excellency's tremendous effort and the support she has been given to Girl Child Education, Women & Youth Empowerment and less privileged in need since the beginning of her husband's administration. 

As Nigeria goes pink for cancer

Nigerians of different religion, tribe and ethnicity are expected to come together in solidarity to rid Nigeria of late cancer detection.
According to a survey by World Health Organization, about 90 Nigerians die daily from a preventable death of cancer. These deaths can be prevented when certain measures are taken at the right time.
For this reason, in Sokoto yesterday, my foundation, Mariya Tambuwal Development Initiative (MTDI) organized a rally with a vision of crushing late cancer detection in Nigeria through mass mobilization.

Visit to Dange Shuni to condole and sympathise with victims of the recent flood disaster

Mariya Tambuwal Development Initiative (MTDI) today Saturday 10th September, 2016 paid a visit to the people of Dange-Shuni LGA to condole and sympathise with victims of the recent flood disaster and to donate relief materials to the flood victims in Shuni area.

The relief materials include Blankets, Mats, Bags of rice, Bags garri and grounded groundnut cake (Kuli-Kuli). During the visit, the MTDI team were received by Alhaji Muhammad jabbi Harande na 2, the Hon Chairman of Dange-Shuni LGA and over a hundred community members including those affected by the flood.

Launch of the Foundation founded by the wife of Niger state Governor

The Wife of the president Aisha muhammadu Buhari earlier today at the lunch of the raise FOUNDATION founded by the wife of Niger state Governor .

The Event was held in Niger state, Which Her Excellency Hajiya Mariya Aminu Waziri was present and also wives of some state Governors were in attendance as a show of solidarity to the wife of Niger state Governor Hajiya Amina Abu Bello.

Mariya Tambuwal Development Initiative set to partner with MedShare to supply free medical equipment’s to rural hospitals in Sokoto state. 

The Wife of the executive Governor of Sokoto and Founder and Executive Director of MTDI, Hajiya Mariya Aminu Waziri Tambuwal today paid a visit to MedShare Headquarters in Atlanta Georgia where she was received by Medshare’s Vice President of Corporate and International Relations, Nell Diallo.

MedShare is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving healthcare and the environment through the efficient recovery and redistribution of the surplus. MedShare has shipped more than 1,000 free forty-foot tractor-trailer size containers to over 96 developing countries and territories. In the past 5 years, MedShare has shipped more than $1,000,000 worth of free medicals supplies to other Nigerian state.
